What #DIV/0! means
The formula divides by zero or by an empty cell. In Spanish versions of Excel the same error appears as #¡DIV/0!.
Common causes
- The divisor cell is empty or contains 0.
- A calculation upstream returned 0.
How to fix it
- Check the divisor cell.
- Wrap the division in IF to avoid dividing by zero, for example IF(B1=0,0,A1/B1).
- Use IFERROR only if hiding every error is acceptable.
